Educational Interventions on QR Code Phishing: A Case Study of UCR Computing Students

Purpose of Study

The purpose of this study is to determine whether educational interventions in the form of a web application would mitigate QR code phishing.
This web application is called QRPhish. The structure of this study is Pre-app form -> QRPhish Application -> Post-App Form.

Pre-Application Form

The pre-app form is a series of questions to gain a baseline understanding of participants knowledge of QR code security and phishing.
By clicking the start form button, you have consented to participate.

QRPhish Application

The application consists of a tutorial with information about QR phishing, email phishing and QR code security.
After reading the material on each, you can take a quiz to test your knowledge.

Post-Application Form

The post-app form was created to determine whether there was improvement in your awareness level of QR phishing.
This form will include the same questions as in the pre-app form but include questions about your experience with the app as to gain feedback on improvement.
